Hank Williams Sr. Tribute Book Project
So my friend Mickey Flatt told me about this project he was asked to help out on. I was curious on the get go considering I have a love and respect for Old "Original" Country music. I do have to admit. I was a little skeptical about the whole idea. Mainly because of people doing covers for Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. I feel ashamed for even doubting it. The moment I met the guys of Hank Williams Sr. Tribute band they were awesome. The detail of the outfits were even acknowledged. They found the taylor who made Hank's costumes and that is who made theirs. Jim "Hank" pulled off one of the smoothest yodel sets I have ever heard. The band members of City Moon "The Drifting Cowboys" stepped right in and made the show that much better. The music was smooth and accurate. The show was breathtaking. For a moment I caught myself in 1947. Looking back on the work of "my opinion" countries greatest artist. Hank Williams Sr.
